Thx Gunnar. I appreciate the response. Love the vid but wow that wing is HUGE. Looks like it will be at least another week before I can get her wet. There is no decent wind in driving distance to make it worth while. I'll watch and hope for more! Maybe I will inflate and punk around with it just to get used to the feel of it.
Pray for wind,
Mac

Try using your Windfoil Board and same Foil setup you use for Windfoiling. You will be surprised how well that works. The RF 81 should be more than big enough to keep you afloat. Just take off the straps.
For really light wind I use my old KiteRace Boards with Windfoil Foils. This actually works better than SUPs and Surf foils in light wind.

Just gotten a wing, SS Slingwing 4, and am jazzed to get her started. The plan was for the weekend but low wind forecast will postpone unless I can find a land board to borrow. I have been foiling with windsurfing using an Exocet RF 81 and a recently purchased SS Freestyle. Current foil is a SS with the I76 front wing. The wing specific board will have to wait as I have two foil boards and want to make those work until I really need an upgrade.
Any advice on changing the foil set up to use the wing? Fuse A, B or C position? I have been watching all the "how to" vids I can find. Good stuff on how to start and positioning / control of the wing ... the hardware setup is missing is not discussed.
My thanks. Mac
