Title: Re: Tips on preventing the wing from hitting the foil please
Post by: gmb13 on April 23, 2020, 07:12:31 pm
I'm about to start using it on water.
What are tips to avoid the foil shredding the wing when falling, washing in waves, etc.
Does the type/length of board leash help?
Thanks

Make sure that your boardleash and Wingleash flag out at different lengths.  I use a 6.5 ft Boardleash and a 8ft Wing Leash.  This keeps them well apart when I get washed.

Another good tip. Is to keep a hold of your board after a crash if possible.
