When I was a young sailor, Lowell North was the god of shaped fabric. Now you look and many of these famous brands and big names in places like Hawaii simply ride the nostalgia train to the bank tagging other people's work.  You can see it in the hit or miss products they release.  Sometimes it seems more important to have new models for trade shows rather than carry on with the best models.

'North' did catch my attention, but Lowell is long gone.
