Title: Wingsurf Safety
Post by: knatti on September 01, 2020, 09:25:57 am
The other day I pulled a kitesurfer in trouble to the shore (on a lake), first time I did it with a wing. That day was quite windy and on a similar day in my windsurf beginnings I had to wait on the other side of the lake as I just could not get my sail up anymore, or when sail was up I fell off because of the waves.

With the wing I found it fairly easy, you can sit down on the board and hold your overpowered wing a little into the wind and you alright to get home again. So I think the worst for a wing surfer is when one of the leashes brakes.

Anymore safety advice? Problems you had?
