Hi, I started Wingfoiling about six weeks ago, hope the following 'numbers' help.... Weight 75K, S26 Naish Ultra Carbon
110Litre, Naish Jet 2000 foil, S26 5.3 Wing.
The 2000 foil was excellent for the first few days of learning, but at 75Kilos I was too light to hold it down, after about 20 knots windspeed, sold the 2000 front foil, and bought the Naish Jet 1650 front foil, this has greatly extended the top end of the wind range I can foil in. now comfortable to 28 knots-ish.
The 2000 was certainly easier to learn on, the 1650 would have been slightly more difficult, but has ultimately more range for my weight. 'Low end' windspeed seems very similar.
Hope that helps.
